Grapefruit Honey Swizzle
The perfect drink on a hot day. Yeah, swizzle.
2 oz. brandy
1/2 oz. triple sec
1/2 oz. honey
1 oz. grapefruit juice (freshly squeezed)
4 dashes Angostura bitters
In a Collins glass, combine brandy, triple sec, honey, grapefruit juice, and bitters. Stir well with a bar spoon. Fill glass all the way with crushed or shaved ice. (A Lewis bag works well for crushing ice.) Swizzle until the glass frosts or you tire of swizzling, whichever occurs first. (A bar spoon will work just fine if you don't have a swizzle stick.) Top with more ice to fill. Top with another dash of bitters — or enough to cover the top. Garnish with a fresh slice of grapefruit.
