2017 Holiday Gift Guide for Foodies

Posted by Liz Downey on

This year, we put together a gift guide for foodies with our favorite items from our own kitchen. These are all things that we love and use (or eat) often. With a range of prices, you're sure to find something for the person who loves to cook, or just enjoys good food.

2017 Holiday Gift Guide for Foodies

1 // Wusthof Classic 8-Inch Offset Deli Knife
If you're going to buy one good knife, this is the one. It really does it all—from bread to tomatoes, to carving—and has become the knife everyone wants to use when more than one person is cooking.

2 // Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat
If you love to improvise in the kitchen like we do, this book is a must have. It'll teach you concepts behind cooking that will make you a better cook, and free you up to cook without recipes whenever you want to.

3 // Rose Gold Stainless Steel French Press
Do you like your coffee hot? So do we. This french press is not only beautiful, but will keep your coffee warm for much longer than a glass press.

4 // Mixology Dice
For anyone who likes to experiment with making new cocktails, these dice will have them creating new favorites for a long time to come. Our personal favorite—gin, grapefruit, and rosemary. Delish.

5 // Spicy Ginger Shrub
Spicy, fresh ginger taste that's absolutely delicious in cocktails and also mocktails. Pair with above to create a fun gift for the bar.

6 // Ritual Chocolate Bars
A small but thoughtful offering for anyone who loves chocolate, or an excellent stocking stuffer. Bonus: the packaging is gorgeous.

7 // Foodie Dice
Stuck in a cooking rut? Roll the dice. Over 186,000 possible combinations to inspire creativity in the kitchen. Pair with Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat for anyone who is just starting to be more adventurous in cooking without recipes.

8 // Cork pops Wine Bottle opener
The easiest way to open a bottle of wine, this handy tool will blow your mind, or at least your cork. Don't forget to grab a few refill cartridges.

9 // Le Creuset Cast Iron Dutch Oven
If you're going to splurge on one item, this is a good one because it's versatile and will last a lifetime. Our roasted chicken has never tasted so good.

10 // Monkey Peeler
Don't knock it till you try it. We received this as a funny stocking stuffer last year and had zero expectation for its functionality, but now it's our favorite peeler.
