Tangerine Gin Fizz

Tangerine Gin Fizz 2 oz. gin1/4 oz. elderflower liqueur (like St. Germain)3/4 oz. agave1 oz. tangerine juice3-4 dashes grapefruit bitters1 egg whitechilled club soda >>><<< In large cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients except club soda.Shake vigorously for 25 seconds. Add ice and shake for 30 seconds more. Strain mixture into 8-oz. highball glass. Gently top with club soda, garnish, and serve. Created with Mixology Dice.

Berry Lemon Sour

Berry Lemon Sour Raspberry jam adds a burst of fruit and just the right amount of sweetness to this summery drink. 2 oz. vodka1/2 oz. raspberry preserves1/2 oz. creme de cassis1 oz. meyer lemon juice >>><<< Place ice in a cocktail shaker. Add all other ingredients. Shake well and strain the drink into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a fresh blackberry or raspberry. Created with Mixology Dice.

The Rum Manhattan: A new twist on a traditional cocktail

The Manhattan. A traditional cocktail that many know and love. But what makes a "cocktail" a cocktail? To answer this question, we have to go back into history, to a time before we referred to all alcoholic concoctions as cocktails. In the stricter sense, a cocktail refers to a drink made up of a spirit, sugar (may be a liqueur), water (or ice), and bitters. A Manhattan follows this formula, using whiskey, sweet vermouth, and aromatic bitters.  With a roll of the dice we came up with a simple but delicious variation, using rum instead of whiskey.   Rum Manhattan 2 oz....
